During her studies civil-engineering architecture Lisa Van Gulck became stimulated by the question: how can we build in a more environmentally friendly way? Circular building, which means preserving the value of buildings for as long as possible, is a viable answer. Lisa’s current PhD research at the UGent is aimed at proving the importance of circular building by determining the environmental impact and financial cost of circular constructions.
