The Nutri-Score: (not) a marketing stunt!

The Nutri-Score label can be found on many food products in stores. It is meant to clearly indicate the healthiness of the products, but it's unclear if people actually pay attention to it. To find out, Elke Godden from UAntwerpen conducted an experiment. The results showed that 4 in 10 people chose healthier Nutri-Scores, 3 in 10 opted for the best-known brand, and the remaining 3 in 10 selected unhealthier Nutri-Scores. Through experiments like this, Elke aims to determine who the Nutri-Score benefits and in what situations, to improve its effectiveness. The goal is to make healthy choices easier for everyone.
