About the research

Leslie Held has always been passionate about the functioning of our minds and wondered why we act and think the way we do. That’s why she studied Psychology at Goethe University in Frankfurt, and Behavioral Science and Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University in Nijmegen. Pursuing her Ph.D. at Ghent University, she now focuses on the topic of cognitive control and specifically on what drives our ability to flexibly switch between tasks.
