About the research

Did you know that you can find more organisms in one teaspoon of earth than there are people on our planet? These range from microscopic organisms, such as bacteria and fungus, to critters you can see with the naked eye, such as an earthworm. For a farmer, such soil brimming with life is very important for growing good and healthy crops. But how can farmers get such healthy soil? That's what Koen Willekens (ILVO) digs into in his research.
