Dean Paes (NL) is a PhD-researcher at Hasselt University and Maastricht University. He studies why memory formation is weaker in Alzheimer's disease. Dean does this by coupling his background in neurobiology and neurochemistry with critical thinking and a great deal of curiosity. His ambition is to develop a new drug that can help improve the quality of life of people with Alzheimer's disease.
